DTH Drilling Rig FAQ
Answers to the questions buyers ask us most about drilling rigs, spares and repair.
Who makes DTH drilling rigs in Bhilwara?
Jai Ambey Hydraulics builds and supplies DTH drilling rigs, rig accessories and spares from Bhilwara, Rajasthan. We also design boring vehicles and repair vehicles and hydraulic systems.
What is a DTH drilling rig?
DTH stands for down-the-hole. A hammer sits at the bottom of the drill string and strikes the rock directly while the rig rotates the string, so the hole is drilled quickly even in hard rock. DTH rigs are widely used for water borewells, quarries and mining blast holes.
What types of drilling rig do you make?
We build rigs on different carriers: truck mounted, crawler mounted and tractor mounted. We also supply underground DTH production drilling machines. Tell us your depth, hole size and ground conditions and we will suggest the right type.
What hole size and depth can your rigs drill?
It depends on the model. For example, our underground DTH production drilling machine drills 115 mm to 165 mm holes with a 150 metre capacity. For other rigs, send us your requirement and we will confirm the specifications for that machine.
Do you supply DTH rig accessories and spares?
Yes. We supply accessories such as control panels and spare parts for DTH drilling rigs, and we repair and service rigs at our workshop. Send the rig model and the part you need and we will confirm availability.
